Important Notice – Programs No Longer Eligible:

The following programs will no longer be available through the Academic Common Market for students who begin their enrollment after Fall semester 2023. Students who have been certified for the Academic Common Market and enrolled in these programs by Fall semester 2023 will continue to be eligible as long as there is no break in enrollment and they do not change majors. Students who enroll in Spring 2024 or later will not be eligible for participation in the Academic Common Market.

For Maryland Residents:

  • B.S. in Sport and Entertainment Management
  • B.S. in Hospitality Management (with or without Club Management concentration)
  • B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences

Note: Maryland’s deadline for Fall 2023 applications has passed so it is no longer possible to receive certifications for these programs. 

For Georgia Residents: 

  • B.S. in Biomedical Engineering 
  • B.S. in Retailing/Fashion Merchandising 
  • B.S. in Retailing/Retail Management

For Tennessee Residents: 

  • B.S. in Tourism Management

Declare an Eligible Program

Incoming freshmen or transfer students should call (803)777-7700 to declare an ACM-eligible program. Current students should contact their current academic advisor or visit the University Advising Center for information regarding major change. 

Request a Letter

Students require an official letter on University letterhead confirming specific ACM-eligible major in order to apply for ACM.  Students who have declared an ACM-eligible major and require a letter confirming major may submit a Letter Request
