Services
If you have a sport-related or activity-related injury, your sports medicine physician will help diagnose and treat conditions that affect your daily activities and help you reach your performance and recovery goals. The Sports Medicine department serves all students of USC, including but not limited to student-athletes. Services include:
- Evaluation and Treatment of Acute and Chronic Musculoskeletal Injuries
- On-Site Radiology Services
- Fracture Management
- Bracing (knee, wrist, ankle, etc.)
- Casting and Splinting
- Expedited Orthopedic Referrals (if needed)
- Concussion Management
- Administrative Physicals (i.e., ROTC)
- Sports Physicals
- Joint and Soft Tissue Injections
- Exercise Prescription and Advice
- Rehabilitative Exercise Instruction
- Return to Play Recommendations
- Lifestyle Improvement
- Performance Enhancement
- Injury Prevention
Temporary Conditions and Injuries
USC students experiencing a temporary condition or injury may qualify for assistance if the condition or injury negatively impacts the ability to succeed in the classroom. Our Sports Medicine department works hand-in-hand with the Student Disability Resource Center to provide individual recommendations to support student’s ongoing academic success.
