Erica’s path to USC has taken her down many roads.  However, all these roads were necessary and had a purpose.  After receiving her degree in Political Science with a minor in Mass Communications from Francis Marion University, she decided to attend The National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta to become a certified paralegal.  In the ATL, she worked for lawyers in Entertainment, Personal Injuries, and Real Estate.  Later, she decided that this career was not the correct path for her.

As a result, she attended Georgia State University and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and would later study this beautiful language first-hand for a summer in Mexico by attending The Spanish Institute of Puebla.  Then fast-forwarding to the future, she would receive her Georgia Educator Certificate from the University of North Georgia to teach Spanish, Political Science, & Middle Grades Social Science in Cobb & DeKalb Counties.  Although she enjoyed teaching in the classroom, she still missed working in the office.

For this reason, her path eventually led her back to her home state of South Carolina and to the University of South Carolina as Business Manager for the SDRC in Summer 2022.  Consistently, her purpose has remained the same: to ensure that ALL students are given a quality education, and our office runs efficiently.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
