Nové Deypalan (Doctor of Musical Arts in Instrumental/Orchestral Conducting) is Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Conducting Workshop & Competition and Music Director of St. Nicholas Church in Laguna Woods, CA.
Bianca Raso (Bachelor of Music in voice performance) is a chorister with the Seattle Opera. We recently caught up with Bianca to ask her some questions about her time at the USC School of Music.
Clay Mettens is a composer and the Executive Coordinator of External Affairs at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry. He has composed a new work in celebration of the School of Music's 100th anniversary that will premiere at the Freeman Sundays @3 concert on October 27, 2024.
As we continue to celebrate 100 years of music at Carolina, we are excited to announce the creation of two alumni awards to be awarded each year starting in this 2024-2025 academic year. The awards will celebrate alumni of the USC School of Music who have demonstrated outstanding achievement and service to their profession or to their community.

The deadline for nominations is December 1, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Award recipients will be notified by December 20. All recipients will be honored and recognized at the School of Music’s Awards Day Ceremony on April 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.
