Marlena Crovatt-Bagwell is the Marketing Director for University of South Carolina School of Music. She brings to her a position a strong background in visual arts and communications.

In her 30+ year career, Crovatt-Bagwell has worked in a range of industries, including healthcare, education, advertising, business-to-business and marketing. Her work has earned countless local, regional and national awards. She is a proud graduate of The Savannah College of Art and Design, holding a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts in Illustration with a concentration of art history.

Since I was a little girl learning piano from my grandmother, music has always been a constant in my life. It's been a joy to work in such a vibrant, passionate atmosphere!

Away from her desk, Crovatt-Bagwell can be found on her road bike, in the pool or sitting on a river rock with a sketchbook and her Brittany spaniel by her side.  She is a two-time IRONman 140.2 finisher, a 200-hr certified yoga teacher, enjoys weaving at her 4-shaft  loom and taking on new challenges.
