Background

Suzanne Hardeman joined the Department of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Science in 2008. Before joining the Department of Neuropsychiatry she served in a broad capacity of positions in mental health nursing, emergency nursing, education and counseling holding positions in MO, LA, NJ, KS, GA, KY and in Germany. In addition to her responsibilities as Program Director for the Division of Biological Research, Suzanne teaches graduate classes in the Counseling and Rehabilitation program. 

Ms Hardeman is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with interests in treatment adherence, comorbid depression and medical illness, cognitive dysfunction in schizophrenia and psychiatric rehabilitation. She has served as co-investigator and principal investigator on a number of mental health related grants.
