Biography

I originally joined the University of South Carolina on the main campus working with The Counseling and Human Development Center in 2012. During my time at CHDC, I thoroughly enjoyed my opportunities to engage directly with students and assist them with resources to help support them physically and mentally while attending the university. In 2014 I transitioned into corporate America and was able to develop a plethora of skills such as project management, business analysis, and organizational management. In 2022 I transitioned back to the University at the SOMC as the Office Manager in Student Affairs and Career Advising.  Within this position, I am responsible for providing leadership and oversight to our human resources activities, overseeing the day-to-day operations, implementing procedures that follow best practice measures for the success of the department, coordinating the professional development and training of all staff to enhance employee leadership and understanding of policies, procedures, laws, and accreditation standards, and successfully manage the financial and operational aspects of the department.

My personal interests include sports, traveling, and any activities that are centered around family.
